Thank you Tim (owner) for helping over the phone with my Subaru Forester. I was passing through and called to see if they could help me but it was near the end of the day and they didn’t have time to bring me in. Tim took the time, knowing that I wasn’t going to be able to come into the shop, to help me over the phone diagnosing and offering advice. This speaks to the integrity of this shop. Someone that truly just wants to help people without the need to up sell or make extra cash. Thanks Tim!

Super friendly, honest, and knowledgeable! I trust them. They always give me a complete overview of what was done that was standard, what should be done that isn’t standard, and what can be either put off or left alone because it’s not detrimental to the car.

After a terrible experience with a honda dealer. I brought my car to Tim, he did the necessary repairs (left out the unnecessary ones recommended by the dealer) quickly and for half the price the dealer quoted. I am thrilled to have found a new car specialist that is honest and does quality work. Thank you again, Tim you saved me over $1000.00.

Loved the great communication... articulate, personable, and gave me ongoing progress reports (my project was a little more in-depth). This was also the first time I took my car to Diablo Auto Specialist (and Tim). I will 100% be back... but hopefully not too soon😜🤣.

My experience with Diablo Automotive Specialists was great. I was able to request an appointment online, it was quickly confirmed, and they were ready and waiting for my car on the day of service. Part of my service was for a check engine light for which I was originally quoted a diagnostic fee. After reading the codes, Tim called me to explain the necessary repairs and that they were waiving the diagnostic fee because my particular issue did not require significant effort on their part to diagnose and confirm. They obviously could have charged me since they performed the service requested. I have not had other shop’s waive fees regardless of situation and was impressed by this honest, straightforward, and open approach.
