I really love Diablo Auto Specialists. Paul was very helpful when it came to explaining what repairs needed to be done on my car. I had taken my car to Toyota prior to taking it to DAS and the estimate was a lot higher at Toyota. I will return to Diablo Auto Specialists for my auto needs.

These guys are a refreshing surprise in the car repair business. They are always upfront and honest with whatever problems my car has. If I did not totally understand, they took time to show me the issue personally. Tim and Paul have never made me feel pressured or uncomfortable. They let me research the problem and ask around for prices from other shops before I commit to their service. But, I have never found a need to go anywhere else. There prices are reasonably low compared to any other repair shop in the area. I brought my car in a couple weeks ago to fix a belt noise. When I returned to pick up the car they said that the belts were under warranty from a previous job they did on the car and I didn't owe them a thing. Typically repair shops make you do your own research, keep your own records, and ask up front. These guys are really in your corner.

I can count on Tim and his team's honesty and integrity to care for my car's service needs. It's a bit more expensive but the trade off for ethical and efficient service is worth it.

Tim and his staff are very professional both in their work on my car and how they handle customer relations. I have been bringing my cars to them for three years now and have always been happy with the quality of the work. Gayle's Hyundai has been well cared for here and she can be very persuasive in convincing others to bring their cars here too. In fact, the first morning I came here, Gayle's boss had just dropped his car off minutes before. I had previously had an oil change at Roesbery Car Care and had a list of repair items from their associated mechanic's review. I was ready to pull the trigger on these fixes, but Gayle convinced me that we should be using the same mechanic hers. Do you think I'm wrapped around her little finger? I was in good hands with Tim and his crew. They performed a separate appraisal and pretty much confirmed Roesbery's findings and in the same price ballpark. I made a separate appointment and was even offered a complimentary rental car for my all-day trouble. There was no need as Diablo Auto Specialists was close to Gayle's work and I took her car for the day. The car was completed on time, on budget, and within scope. Actually they did find a couple worn belts, but since their initial inspection missed it, I got that service for free. I own a 1999 Subaru Legacy, now with over 165,000 miles on it. I hope to reach 200,000 miles and beyond and I'm convinced that Diablo Auto Specialists will get me there without spending lots of money on life support. In other words, when I buy that new Car probably another Subaru, it will truly be time.

I found DAS after reading an article about them and Tim 2 yrs. ago and since then, DAS has serviced my car. They are friendly, efficient, honest and on time. I like that they communicate before they do any work, with a clear explanation using words that I can understand. I have not had any visit be one of those where they come up with things that have to be done, like my previous experience with dealerships.
