I took my 2001 Tahoe in recently due to it overheating. The team at Diablo Auto Specialists did great work. They checked every aspect of the cooling system and ultimately found and fixed the problem. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Tim and the team for any work I needed done and I would be happy to recommend them to any looking for a high quality independent mechanic.

If you are looking for courteous and honest service for your vehicle this is the place to go. I stopped here from out of town with my check engine light. Tim, the owner, had never met me before and may never see me again but still gave me great service. He was able to diagnose the issue as low on oil, provided me with a quart of oil, cleared the code and sent me on my way. It was easy and relieved me of so much stress for the rest of my drive.

Tim has been my primary auto mechanic for the last several years for my Nissan Xterra. Since moving to Dublin one year ago, I still go to Tim’s shop for tune-ups and repairs. I have been bringing my Highlander to Tim for service for years for service because he and his team are highly experienced, provide excellent workmanship, and do so at a fair price. When I learned that Tim could also service LEXUS as well, I brought mine in for its minor maintenance, and couldn't be happier for doing so, as it saved me the cost and time of going to the dealership, where I had previously serviced my car. This said, I needed to bring my Highlander to Tim earlier this week because my 5yr old battery had died. As an essential service, Tim's shop was open during the pandemic and he had social distancing measures and other procedures in place to ensure the health and safety of his clients.
