Tim Stussi is awesome! As a woman and not very knowledgeable about automobiles, it is great to have someone you trust to work on your car. At other places, I have been told something was wrong with my car and got stuck with a high bill and never really knew if they were telling the truth or not. I totally trust Tim and he has done a great job on my car!

I have been a customer of Diablo Auto for several years. I had to have our truck towed to Diablo Auto over the weekend. Tim called us that he received the vehicle on Monday morning, he had to order a special electronic part and the vehicle would have to spend the night in his shop. He kept to his word and called us the next morning that the repair was complete. The price was extremely reasonable and customer service is excellent . I would not hesitate to refer Tim and Diablo Auto to family and friends.

When we needed a good, honest mechanic shop to assess our 2003 Toyota 4Runner, our neighbor (a mechanic who specializes in Saab and Volvo) recommend Diablo Auto Specialist. We have been a Honda family for over 16 years and have a great shop we serviced our cars with, but they specialize in Honda and Acura. As most know, it's difficult and stressful going through the vetting of a new mechanic. First off, Tim was clear and friendly on the phone going over the earliest time slot to fit us in for an appointment, and when we called back to adjust he asked what we needed in order to see what worked. Very efficient. Tim was very good explaining the small details and answering our questions, and friendly with me and my husband. The report included any recommended repairs. I would prefer an itemized estimate on the repair but that was not the main purpose of the visit and perhaps why, and therefor listed as a side note. I've been going to Diablo Auto Specialists now for over 12 years and can't imagine going anyplace else. The best thing about DAS is Tim's honesty. If all goes well, I'm driving the last car I'll ever own. So far, Tim hasn't had much work to do on it and hasn't made much money off me as a customer. That's been known to change. Based solely on two auto inspections and a few routine maintenances over a 3-year period, I can say I like Tim, what he does and how he does it. I am happy for me and my car ( a 2010 Toyota Corolla) that we have Tim and his crew on our side helping our car/owner relationship move along its journey.
