John and the crew at Diablo auto specialists always take great care of me and my car. Although I’ve had several issues lately, they always get me in in a timely fashion, and look to save me money wherever they possibly can. They also give me the choice of what repairs to make and though I always follow their recommendations, I appreciate the transparency. I also love that they send you video of the issues with the car so you know what’s being done and the impact that it is having.

John has helped me numerous of times with my van, even repairing a loose part they had installed with no extra charges. I have the sense that they are straightforward with their work and their fee structure. I have been a customer for years prior to them taking over Diablo Auto Specialists from the late owner, Tim Stussi, who passed prematurely, and they are upholding his honest, transparent, and hard working reputation. I’ve waited a few years to write this review because I wanted to evaluate their honesty and integrity with several interactions over time, building trust. Diablo Auto was great! Melissa took great care of me and provided a long list of problems they found with the car but prioritized exactly what was needed to make sure I was setup for success on my long trip out to burning man. I even had another auto shop confirm their repair and prices and they said Diablo Auto was fair pricing and a great approach. Will be visiting them again

I'm a first timer with Jon and Melissa but I believe I have found my go-to car doctors with them! Melissa was very friendly on the phone and Jon at the front desk was friendly, thorough and efficient. I dropped the car off late afternoon and it was ready with new brakes early the next morning.
